Privacy Policy.
01Who this covers
This policy applies to securight.com.au, the public website of SecuRight Pty Ltd (“SecuRight”, “we”, “us”), an Australian company based in Melbourne. It is written to align with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). It does not cover any separately-published apps or products, which carry their own privacy policies.
02What we collect
This website is a static, content-only site by design. It has no accounts, no login, no forms, no shopping cart, and no embedded tracking SDKs. As a result, we collect very little personal information:
- If you email us (for example via a
mailto:link to [email protected]), we receive whatever you choose to send — your email address and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to you. - Standard server logs. Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider processes basic technical request data (such as IP address and user-agent) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not use this to build profiles of individuals.
- Privacy-friendly analytics — see the next section.
We do not collect names, payment details, or sensitive information through this website, and we do not run advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies.
03Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous traffic (such as page views and referrers). Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-first: it does not use cookies and does not fingerprint or track individuals across sites. We use it only to see which content is useful, in aggregate. Fonts are self-hosted on our own domain — we do not load Google Fonts or other third-party assets that could observe you.
04How we use information
We use the limited information above to:
- respond to enquiries you send us by email;
- operate, secure, and improve the website;
- understand aggregate, anonymous usage of our content.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
05Sharing & third parties
We don’t share your personal information except with the service providers that make the site work, and only to the extent needed:
- Cloudflare — hosting (Cloudflare Pages), content delivery, security, and the cookieless analytics described above.
We may disclose information if required by law. We do not otherwise share, rent, or sell your data.
06Retention
Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for reasonable record-keeping, then deleted. Aggregate analytics are not tied to identifiable individuals.
07Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may ask us to access or correct the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, or to raise a privacy concern, email [email protected]. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
08Security
The site is served over HTTPS with a strict Content-Security-Policy, HSTS, and other hardening headers. We hold very little personal data, which is itself the strongest privacy protection. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we do handle.
09International visitors
SecuRight is based in Australia and the site may be accessed globally. If you are in the EU/UK, our processing is limited to the minimal, privacy-friendly handling described above; where the GDPR/UK GDPR applies, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure, useful website and responding to enquiries you initiate. Contact us to exercise any applicable rights.
10Changes & contact
We’ll update this policy if our practices change, and revise the “last updated” date above. Questions or requests: [email protected].
